Hello
we run 2 stroke high rpm kart motors, we have built a homemade room but it’s still to noisy
Looks like 2 option:
De-couple room
purpose built Dyno room
Anyone advise of the de-couple room would be quieter than the purpose built room? Or vis-versa?

Hello i Have build a dyno room in my shed next to my house with neighbors in the same row and it is quiet outside.
It is a engine test bench for 50 To 125cc race engines.
I have used a Knauf construction with diamond bord gipsen plates
The construction is type W115 and is:
a double plate of diamond bord 12.5mm
60mm rockwool
30mm air
60mm rockwool
a double plate of diamond bord 12.5mm
Its a reduction of 72 dB
There is documentation for these boards but I have only a dutch paper product
