I have everything up and running have double and triple checked everything i can think of I'm completely new to dynos. having an issue with very low hp/tq readings and rpm on the run screen is matching the engine rpm but then when i go look at the graph it will read around half max rpm Eg ran truck up to 5800rpm checked on my data log of the ecm and watched the run screen match but when i go look at the graph it only shows max rpm of 2621 and says the truck makes 102hp engine the truck should be i think in the 275 range factory rates them at 360hp engine. sorry I'm at a loss here its a complete learning curve for me i have checked the speed sensor for the tone wheel and set air gap to .040 but it seems to be reading correct on the run screen compared to actual engine rpm i have calibrated the load cell a few times and i believe my MOI input is correct and i got it from the mustangs use manual.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the dyno world!

Check the following:

  1. Number of pulses per revolution in the RPM setup. This is the number of teeth on the trigger wheel or number of pulses per revolution if you use an encoder
  2. Load cell calibration
  3. Moment of Inertia. MOI is a typical cause of wrong readings. There is a chapter in the UnaVision Software manual about how to measure the MOI. Note that MOI can be represented with many different units, so using a number from a manual is not always straight forward

I can login to your computer and help set it up if you are still struggling, email me at jostein@yourdyno.com or send me a whatsapp message at +47 4840 1279
