Hi

Been using yourdyno now for a couple of weeks but i have some trouble with calibrating sensors on the auxinput.

The problem is that all my sensors go from 0.5 to 4.5 volts and. Im using AEM Mapsensor and there X Series Uego.

Is there a possibility to set the voltagelevels for the auxchannels in some way or can this be added as a feature for a future software revision ?

Hi,

This is no problem, you just need to enter the value that 0V would have been and what 5V would have been, just extend the curve. So the range you enter in YourDyno will be larger than the actual measurement range. The fact that the sensor does not actually go that high and low does not matter.

Hi

Yes thats exactly what ive been tinkering with and it just takes alot more time and frankly, i havent had any luck getting it just about right ether.

For one example, my wideband indicates sensorfault above 4.5v and belove 0.5v.

To just be able to set the values at 0.5v and 4.5v would make it alot easier.

Here a pdf for my mapsensor.

Hi,

Yes, it's an easy improvement I can do to the software.

In the meantime, I know the method I described above works. The sensor you have follows the curve y = a*x + b, where a is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

From the table in your pdf you can see what "a" is easily. It is the difference in psi for input change from 1 volt to 2 volt. For example for the 30-2130-15 sensor, a = 3.75 (the difference between -12.825 and -9.075). By using a = 3.75 you find that b = -16.575 for that same sensor. With this you know what 0V is (-16.575) and what 5V is (2.175).

So that's how you do it, but I agree, it would be easier if we can just enter the values you want. I will add it to the to-do list.

Cheers,
Jostein

Soo, ive tried almost everything tonight.

I hooked up a regulator from the shopair but i cant still get this to work. I get 2,3 and 4 bars of boost to line up with the sensor but below that

its a no-goo. Since the implemention in the software hasn't been done yet i wont be able to get this to work since the software doesnt want

to accept negetive numbers. Do you have any solutions for this ?

Im running the 30-2130-75  sensor and i would like to have the DAQ showing the right pressure.

Problem solved. Sensor was faulty and had developt a non linear behaviour below 2 bar
