What brake is on the mustang 1100 chassis dynamometer?
Im not sure, google was not helpful. Mustang has assigned their own identification to it, MDK-250. I believe in a sales pitch once they told me it was French made?

Do you have the mustang 1100 dynamometer MDK-250 in your possession? Take the covers off and start probing ? Does it have a electric brake ( electric retarder with 16 magnetic coils and two cast iron disc rotors ) connect to the rollers ?
That unit can handle some series rear wheel horsepwer the mustang 1100 chassis dynamometer if your is the same as the link i posted here. First realist back in 2003.

Get yourdyno control unit Version4 and start converting.
How much of the mustang 1100 chassis dynamometer you have i don't know. Do you have the original control unit/power supply for the dyno?

Yes I have the dyno. Its fully functinal. Finally counted the pods today, 8 with 2 disks.
Most of us use old dynamo, it's very reliable and fully functioned , i've seen many peopole converted it with higher specs but it is not recommended.
