Hello,

In my setup, I need to have a lot of sensors. I was told to have: 2 water temps, 2 oil temps, 3 pressure, 2 lambdas, and some others.

I will try to connect them directly to the Ultimate controller.

I need to use the 5V, either for a pull-up or supply pressure sensors.

1) Are all the various 5V on all connectors comming from a unique 5V regulator ?

2) How much current can it/they source to devices ?

3) Is it protected against shorts ??? If yes, how ?

Regards

Angelo

Hi,

The 5V has an automatically resettable fuse that can hold 500mA (total consumption on the 5V connectors). This is normally enough for quite a lot of sensors, as most passive sensors don't use much power. Worth doing some calculations though, good question.

The Lambdas need their own 12V power supply, and you only feed the 0V and Signal to YourDyno.
