Amazing job on the plugin system.
Had a hour to port over my mod to the plugin system, Still needs a bit more coding to use the dynodatacollection references instead of the direct hooks iv been using to the bluebox. But I guess ill write a plugin for that USB relay board I use first. And then probably the next important thing on my list would be to read sensors directly from my tuning software from Hondas, Holdens, Nissan and Fords.

Allright guys! Here is the plugin Beta release.

https://yourdyno.com/YourDynoInstaller_3.2.06.msi

Cool to see your plugin already, bmgjet! Please upload to YourDyno.com's library and keep them coming!!

Note you need to install the driver for the VM167 board first if you want to test out that plugin.

Great news,  looks very nice! can't wait to test all this new bits 🙂

A plugin to get data from aftermarket ecus would be great, link, dta, etc

If they have publicly available information of pulling data then it wouldn't be too hard.
The invoate gear wouldnt be too hard since they have info on pulling everything from the mts chain,

Any ETA on documentation for the plugin system.
Most the subs and functions look to be exposed when calling dynodataconnection. Quite enjoying working with C# again, like jumping on that old trusty bike. (Im mostly a Assembly and C++ coder for what I do with Automotive ECUs)

Might have to buy myself a second "Yourdyno" blue box to take home with me so I can work on plugins on my home PC instead of doing it down here at work. Boss is going to be wondering why Im stayed here till 9pm two nights in a row now lol.
Or maybe just write a "Yourdyno" bluebox simulator since I think I understand its protocols workings well enough.

Also a suggestion would be to make another sub fourm outside of "questions and answers". That way people can keep there plugins seperate from the main help forum.

I did a few fixes here and there, it seems pretty stable now. Let me know if you find any issues, if not I will release it soon.

There is still a bug in the plugin manager where as soon as it opens if you click the white space in the list box instead of a item throws a JIT error.
And there is a bug with the refresh list button if you have a dll in the plugin dir that is unmanaged code (so most likely a dependancy for driver ect), A change to the plugin naming scyme would sort of fix that issue. Such as have the plugins must be called.

"PluginName.YD.dll"
Or even just "PluginName.YD"

For the plugin system to parse the file.

Fixed the JIT error. The unmanaged dlls..., this should not be a big issue? If you install plugins with the install button, then this does not happen, right?

What data will be needed for this? I will ask them if is possible

A SDK for developing software to interface with there datalogging.
Had a quick look whats around for aftermarket ECUs and there isnt much publically avaliable.
Ones that support CAN you could tie into that to pull info.

Maybe a better option would to be select a offical aftermarket ECU to tie in and support with "YourDyno" plugins.
Just off the top of my head Speeduino would be a good one since its fully open source and iv had sucess using it on 2 cars so far.
