Hello, my Name is Christian..

I tried today to test a scooter with CVT on the test bench. Unfortunately, that does not work out right. At the beginning of the run, I always have a syringe in the torque.
So the question arises to me whether one can measure with the YourDyno überhaubt so.
I have the Drum RPM on the rpm1 input and the Engine RPM on the RPM2.
I hope you can help me.

Christian

No, that does not work that well. You should test vs speed on CVTs. Set gear ratio to 1 for example, then plot vs speed. You need to install the Speed and Distance plugin.

I have the plugin installed.
But how can I set the gear ratio to 1?

That's under Run->RPM Setup. Set RPM2 function to "Not used" and Engine RPM Source to "Enter gear ratio manually".
